Undergraduate Student at Marist College
Created during January/February of 2024 for my Intro to Digital Media Class. Initially we were tasked with coming up with 6 total sketches. They had to portray 2 different concepts that fit into at least 1 of the following categories: Anti-War, Peace, or Social Reform. After considering most students would base their concepts on the anti-war category I went with social reform.
Overconsumption is a major issue in our world and society today. I decided to depict a cluttered desk to represent this idea.
My initial sketch was made with pencil and paper. I scanned and uploaded it to my computer using the resources available in my classroom. Using Photoshop I adjusted and colored in the photo as well as added text.
OVERCONSUMPTION
Spring 2024 -
The assignment was to create 3 non-traditional greeting cards. My idea progressed throughout the process, but this was my final print. I photoshopped different images of teddy bears onto an off white background using Photoshop. For the inside of the card, I used Dafonts.com to select the fonts I wanted, downloaded and uploaded them into Photoshop. I opted to go for the more humorous route for this card and printed into onto card stock.

Fall 2023 -
My final project for Intro to Design demonstrated the development of tools as well as other aspects of every day life from 1947 till now. Two of the four digital sketches I created using Procreate are shown here.
The idea:
Thanksgiving 2023 my aunt showed me my late grandmother's art. I learned that although I had never met her before, our art styles were very similar. Her pieces were dated from 1947 and depicted objects, tools, and characters as drastically different from what they are today. From there, I came up with the idea of recreating her work using digital programs such as Procreate while putting a 'modern' spin on it. Our assignment gave all students complete creative freedom, allowing me to create something meaningful to both myself and my family.

My aunt inspired me to draw a bird for my grandfather's birthday. One of my youngest memories is feeding the birds in his backyard with my sister and grandmother. I'm currently using Procreate to make this.
Spring 2023 -
As a part of our final project in "Technology for the 21st Century", my partner and I researched the advantages and disadvantages of smart homes and communities. I opted to create a flyer to complete an optional part of the assignment. This was created using Canva.
Spring 2023 -
In the class Introduction to Strategic Advertising, my group had to come up with a charity fundraiser that was linked to a major brand. We decided on Oreo and chose "The Milk of Kindness" charity. Although the final product changed, this was the personal draft I contributed to the group. This was also created using Canva.
